Training as chemical laboratory assistant successfully completed
Laura Zorn has completed her in-house apprenticeship at SIMACO successfully.
With ninety-seven per cent – in other words excellent: Laura Zorn completed her three-year apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory assistant at SIMACO GMBH in Burgbrohl at the end of June 2020 with this outstanding result.
It goes without saying that the manufacturer of innovative inks, printing inks and consumables for industrial inkjets took on the now 23-year-old as a permanent employee straight away: in future Laura will be carrying out chemical laboratory tests, test series and analyses in the company's own development department in order to create solutions which will result in new special SIMACOLOR products for a wide range of coding and marking applications.
Sound in-house training for more than 15 years
She is not the first to be apprenticed at SIMACO: the company which is part of the HEUFT group has been a recognised training establishment since 2004. The first two apprentices, Marc Eble and Tom Jäger, who have long since been promoted to production and development managers also look after the prospective chemical technicians and laboratory assistants in order to provide them with the right skills.
With success as the excellent results of Laura's final examination show. She is also extremely satisfied with the conditions which SIMACO offers its trainees: "In addition to the professional and technical skills required for a good chemical laboratory assistant, a further key training element is to encourage the apprentices to work independently and to offer them insights into versatile and interesting tasks. You are part of the team right from the start and simply feel at ease."
So the chemistry is right here! Therefore it is not surprising that two new young people, Jana Unger and Jan-Hendrik Müller, have once again started their sound in-house apprenticeship as chemical laboratory technicians this summer.
