Successful exhibition appearance

SIMACO GMBH succeeded in making a name for itself at the FachPack 2012 exhibition in Nuremberg (Germany) as the inkjet competence centre which ensures the full availability of industrial coding systems with consumables, spare parts and service.  The number of contacts has more than tripled compared with the previous year.

The SIMACO stand at FachPack 2012 was a real crowd puller.

The appearance of the exciting, open design of the SIMACO exhibition stand already made an impression on the right target group and attracted important decision–makers almost magically.  Oliver Faß the Managing Director can also confirm this:  "Not only the quantity but also the quality of the visitors was extremely good.  We had one hundred percent success in showing what we do."  That this is a great deal could already be clearly seen from the exhibits presented.

Two new special inks approved for marking food packaging were among the highlights of the SIMACO FachPack range besides black general purpose inks for coding packaging economically and reliably with Videojet®, Domino® and Linx® systems.

SIMACO as the inkjet competence centre

In addition it was impressively demonstrated using a Hitachi® system which had been given a general overhaul and was working with a specially developed yellow ink that the range of the inkjet competence centre not only included the development and manufacture of consumables, which are superior as far as price and performance are concerned, but also the expert maintenance and repair of industrial inkjets.

SIMACO was able to create a distinctive image for itself at the trade fair for packaging solutions with great success as an experienced partner regarding the reliable marking of products who guarantees the operational reliability and availability of the corresponding printing systems of different manufacturers.  This met with a positive response from the international audience.  "Each day of the exhibition," according to Mr Faß, "we had more visitors to the stand on average than at the complete exhibition in the past."  Compared to FachPack of last year their number had more than tripled.

The demand for the products and services of the inkjet competence centre was accordingly high explains the Managing Director:  "The numerous enquiries which we received were very different.  They ranged from simple standard applications, enquiries from retailers for large volumes of ink to complex system solutions for 16 lines for the production of rubber."  Consequently the results of the FachPack exhibition were positive for him:  "This was our best exhibition up to now.  We are looking forward to a productive follow–up period."
